Draw With Me in Procreate π°π What I'm Learning This Month (Patreon)

Hello everyone,
I've just finished drawing the challenge for this month's Creative Illustration Curriculum, and you can watch my quiet, real-time art process in the video above π Beautiful Bluebells will be getting a version with voice-over this week where I talk about my process as I go.
My learning focus this month is exploring how a basic interaction between two characters or objects can create a cute, simple story.

I set the challenge this month to be: draw an object on its own, and then draw a character interacting with it. Basically I want to explore how much of a difference an interaction can make.
So I drew a strawberry on its own, and then drew a character giving the same strawberry as a gift to introduce some interaction with it and give it a small story.
It seems obvious, but a strawberry on its own is just a strawberry. When a character interacts with it, it becomes part of an action, and I love that this bunny is giving it as a gift because it brings such warmth to a simple drawing. So cute!
So here's what I've been learning about cute character interactions:
You don't need an elaborate drawing to introduce some storytelling (you don't even need a background).
Heartwarming interactions create heartwarming illustrations
If full characters are difficult, even simple characters can be really cute, like bugs, bees or flowers.
