CW: Big floppy bug tf on the last image lmao.
#43: “If You Can’t Beat ‘Em…” … yeah just because you’re a civilian scientist doesn’t mean you’re out of danger! Probably should have been a BIT more careful with that mysterious Covenant technology that was brought back to the lab, turns out it uh… has some significant effects on the human body. I don’t think that security badge is gonna get you far now and the assistant who glimpsed you round a corner just ran off screaming about intruders and Covenant and calling for security and… Yeah you better run! Eventide managed to get me to play Halo for the first time ever, starting with Reach, and I’m rather liking these stupid sexy Covenant species hhhhg. FtM to practice some more.
#44 “Silent Roar” The various styles of tutelary animal carvings that exist around the world have been a life-long fascination for me, and the thought of becoming them is even more interesting. They’re objects meant to evoke a presence and almost living qualities, which occupies an interesting almost liminal space between physically inanimate but spiratually perhaps a bit more than that. Either way, fun stuff, continuing the FtM vibes with a Koma-tora statue, a tire, which are similar to the lion dogs and foxes people are more familiar with in East Asia and Japan. Petrification and TF are a perfect match for eachother.
#45 “So Close… Yet So Far.” Yeah so turns out it’s actually kinda hard to do with hooves, much less awkward spindly deer hooves like this guy is figuring out! Keep at it! You’ll get there! Eventually. Maybe. Probably not. Just some more practice with deer anatomy, apto, and expressions.
#46 “Ill-fitting” Just some practice with clothes and tail emergence, went with cheetah because they have ice long and distnct tails that read well even when squeezed into a pant leg that’s already occupied. Honestly have you ever tried to rip denim? It’s hard!! I doubt jeans would ever actually rip unless you turned into a huge kangaroo or a whale or something lol.
#48 “Built in Flip-flops” Webbies are underrated in bird tfs, and birds also have really weird ankles in terms of anatomy so wanted to practice those a bit with Seagull tf.
#49 “Космо“ As if being stuck on all fours wasn’t awkward enough! Suits feeling so bulky, I… I really just c-can’t… I… rrr …… R… Я просто не можу зараз нормально мислити!?! Hrrrf~ Had an idea for depicing a language shift on an uplifted animal, with the trope of a speech module being added. Doug from UP came to mind first but Cosmo the Space Dog felt a bit more fun, since there was a costume too for clothes to shift into, has to feel bizarre for your voice to bounce back and forth between your vocal chords and a little speaker all while wobbling between your native language and one you know none of, but somehow are speaking fluently while English starts taking a back seat as the second language. Fun to play with minds as they change like that!
#47 “Boots & Snoot” Bug tf, Boll Weavil edition. These guys are honestly remarkably cute I think with their long lil snoots and big bug boots. Stemmed from that one song by Presidents of the United States, Boll Weavil lmao, and couldn’t get it out of my head until I drew it. Insects really have some wild facial anatomy!!
