Hello! I try not to make a habit out of mass-messaging all my patrons, both current and former, but I thought this was a big enough announcement to justify it!

As of today, Crisis Point: Extinction v0.42 - our latest development update, released in December 2020 - is temporarily free to download and play, no strings attached!

If you go to the itch.io link above, you can download the game for free! No account necessary, no payments or pledges, no strings whatsoever. The download link will be available until the end of January 10th, so make sure you get it while it’s still there! As long as you download it before the page is removed, you can keep it and play it forever!

This free release was okay’d by our current $10 patrons, who all voted unanimously to allow us to release it for free as a way to thank you, the community, for your endless support and kindness throughout the difficult year that was 2020. There’s not too much I can do to show my appreciation, but you guys kept me sane and helped me keep creating during an extremely difficult time, so hopefully this will act as some small token of my appreciation! Thank you, and I hope you enjoy the game!

Hi, I’m so sorry to have to message you again, but there was an issue with the previous download link - Dropbox appears to have bugged out on me while uploading a hotfix for v0.46, and it also changed the link to the file, when it normally keeps the same link as before.

Here’s the new link, which should work properly - and with any luck, it won’t bug out on me again with future hotfixes.

Hey everybody! As always, here’s the download link to v0.42 of Crisis Point: Extinction! Please remember to save the link if you plan on unpledging! It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you do some exploring in this version! There’s not a lot of new content at the very end of the demo, but there’s a lot of smaller areas added all over the place, including challenge rooms and new secrets. In addition, the two major selling points of this update are the Lucas+Verreda H-scene, and the reworked Boss 3 fight, which will both require you to restart your save, so keep that in mind!
