All About Maps
No, there isn’t. The Mad Mage maps aren’t connected to each other and weren’t made as direct recreations of the dungeon levels. They’re inspired by locations and themes from the adventure rather than intended to reproduce the original dungeon layout.
quelqu’un pourrait m’indiquer ou je peux trouver un rempart effondré?
I suppose this one could be good: https://www.patreon.com/posts/town-wall-siege-52376250
Great! Thanks à lot !!!!
is there a discord for animated maps
Im on the 4k plan for a couple of months now is their a main archive to get all archived items at once? Searching is slow.
Not sure if you’re on Foundry but if you are you should get Moulinette on Patreon. For $2/mo you can search everything Animated Dungeon Maps has done all in your Foundry world. It’s pretty amazing.
Also but I don’t think they have a download all area.
Hey! Is ADD the same people that make CyberMaps??
For the VEOR Maps, is there one for Ialos in Chapter 4?
I was wondering the same thing. I have questions! LOL
you can use these - https://www.patreon.com/animatedmaps/posts/ruined-village-115467339?collection=884781
Hey I was wondering what the major difference between Animated Dungeon Maps and your other channel Fantasy Battle Maps is? Are there specific themes that only get published on one channel?
Both Patreons focus on fantasy maps. I experiment with new ideas more often on Fantasy Battlempas, see how people react, and then bring some changes over to Animated Dungeon Maps.
If you’re looking for cyberpunk, sci-fi, or post-apocalyptic maps, check out Cybermaps instead: https://www.patreon.com/c/cybermaps

I noticed that older maps have gridded and then non gridded, but the newer maps have only non-gridded. Is there a way to download a gridded format? I use them over a TV for my DND group
Hey i just wanted to mention that in the archive, i believe your maps are off one number starting at 398.
397 is correct as the Palace Hall Guardian, but 398 should be stonehenge lava, which is missing from the archive, then 399 should be Swamp village etc

Hey, thanks, I’ll check it!
Gridded is mostly useless, as most VTTs have the option to put on and customize the grid as you like.
Hii anyone knows how to fix the audio in the webm maps when uploaded to foundry?? For some reason once uploaded I theres is no sound coming from the map
I haven’t included audio in the WebM files for quite a while now, since it increases the file size and the audio is inconvenient for many users.
I’ll be adding the audio as a separate file soon, and I’ll make a separate announcement once it’s available.
not receiving mails with the new maps anymore - this a bug or feature? :D
also i loved the sounds on the maps and it´s said that they´re on a separate file now. my setup is a tv in a table and the sound from the maps came directly to that tv, while we had other sounds using my normal pc audio setup. i´m missing this
Hi! It’s definitely a feature! I’ve moved away from individual release emails to a monthly digest — tomorrow you’ll get one big email with all the new releases and a summary of everything I’ve been working on over the past month.
As for the audio, I moved the tracks to separate files for 4 main reasons:
- Flexibility: Many GMs prefer different sounds, while others don’t want audio at all. Having the sound as a separate file makes it much easier to choose how and where to use it.
- Copyright. Right now I have permission to use the sounds, but that could change tomorrow, and once they’re embedded in the videos, they can’t be removed.
- The videos are only 10 seconds long, which is great for visuals, but hearing a 10-second audio loop on repeat can get pretty repetitive. Separate tracks allow for longer ambient soundscapes that don’t drive you crazy.
- File size & visual clarity: For WebM formats especially, audio tracks take up 10–15% of the file budget. Stripping them lets me increase the image quality.
alright, thx 4 the detailed answer <3
