Hello. It’s been some time since I use this chat to talk to you.
But I need this chat right now. Any reply you can do by clicking on this message bubble, don’t add a new message to the whole chat group please.
I’m going to answer these possible questsion, but you can bring more. Don’t be disrespectful and think twice about what are you going to bring to the discussion.

Q: What is going on with the authorization process I’m doing?
A: If I send an external link to download, anyone with the link can download even if they are not subscribed.

Q: But why not just upload to Patreon?
A: Patreon have been really time consuming for some reason when uploading these files, they take long and often fail and I have to reupload again. I also have problems with some members abusing this system.

Q: What is that website that you are uploading the files?
A: It’s my website, my domain. I only use this for the file hosting though, no browsing or anything.

Q: It’s adding extra steps for download so it’s annoying, will it stay that way?
A: No. It’s hard to deal with the drama people, but the people who actually give me useful feedback help me understand the issues and evaluate if it’s possible to fix or if I should change this.

Q: What advantage for the members this will bring?
A: I was planning to give an easy way to download more files at once, but first I need these tests or if something wrong happens the damage could be bigger. I also planned to make a more automated way to deliver the packs for the late people.

Q: Will you revert this if it doesn’t work well?
A: Yes. But without testing it’s difficult to know. I only had a small number of people who could test stuff for me before I published. Too few variables.

Note: This is not all of sudden, but it’s something I’m trying to figure and test since many months. “Behind the scenes” there is at least some people who actively try to undermine me for who knows what reasons and it’s being very difficult with social media to bring new members. I don’t mind if my page stops growing, but I do want to at least maintain what I have; I’ve tried hard, and I know that simply improving the content won’t be enough unless I take other measures. Personally, I don’t have the time to manage social media (Cipher handles that) and I can’t expect Cipher to work miracles there. So, for my part, all I can do is focus on doing more here (regarding quality) and on protecting the content. The subscriptions always float and is a big variation, a large number of people join and leave everyday, I just need this number to be more balanced and doing the same thing over and over doesn’t work.

@dswolf123 yes, I’m just trying to explain so people don’t get desperate about it. I also updated the website thrice since I posted the sets.

There is a known issue with Samsung browser on mobile. I’m working on it.
