Good afternoon, all! I hope you had a good Easter!
As I’ve been making an effort to do more things outside of my writing, I’ve also been considering doing more streaming. While I have stuff going on with Twitch right now, I want to do something I meant to start last year, that being small watch parties on Discord or here.
If I did something special for patrons, when would be the best time in the week for that? Currently, I’m playing Mass Effect on Fridays and Saturdays, so it might have to be another day to do that.
Let me know, please! I have some ideas for things I want to try and view.

But I mean for here there’d be viewing parties. Like last year, I wanted to do one where we watch that old 80’s porno that the former lost song “Ulterior Motives” came from. But I got cold feet because I didn’t know how to set it up.

Afternoon, patrons! As I mentioned on Discord, I’m going to do some test streaming tonight for patrons exclusively. Unfortunately, I only just found out that streaming on Patreon only gives me three options: Vimeo, YoutubeLive, and a third one I think requires paying.
So around 8:30 PM EST, or 8 ½ hours from now, I should have a new channel set up for patrons, “This City Cinemas” on the Discord channel. I’ll do a quick test by doing a Q&A, probably run a video test to make sure I can stream what I want to stream on Saturday.

I do, yeah. I had to look around for it, but I should be able to screen share it.
Right, no more making bones about it, this Saturday we’ll be watching the 2017 theatrical release of Justice League!
Is it possible for the Synder’ Cut version?

We’ll have to see. If I do, it might not be a screen share.
But I want to watch this first before we do the Snyder cut, because I feel like I need to see this before comparing it to the other one.

The problem I’m having is that the Snyder cut is Max exclusive, plus a lot of the sites have DRM on their video players.
If I streamed it as is, you’d see a black box instead of the footage. Weirdly, Tubi doesn’t seem to have that problem on OBS.
Slight tweak to tonight’s schedule; the screen share event will be pushed back until 9:30 EST, so about an hour and a half from now.
