The "wrong" story ideas! (Split fiction image sequence 11/?) (Pixiv Fanbox)

The pair’s escape was particularly fast this time around; with Mio’s struggles bordering on the frantic. It took Mio only mere minutes to finally puncture the suit on a convenient jagged piece of metal. Feeling the all-constraining pressure around her dissipate. Mio quickly (though with major fumbling) managed to wiggle out of her rubber cocoon. Afterwards helping Zoe out of her cocoon as well.

With the both of them now out of their rubber bondage, the hunt for the next story portal began. While Zoe felt that (for once) they could take their sweet time, as they weren’t being chased by anything this time around. Nor was there any indication they would be any time soon. Nonetheless Mio kept rushing the pair forward; checking every corridor...though she wouldn’t tell Zoe what she was so afraid of.

Finally arriving at the next story portal, Zoe turned to Mio and was about to suggest to come up with a plan for once before jumping in. However, before she could get even a single word out. Mio suddenly went wide-eyed; having noticed something over Zoe’s shoulder. And so without so much as a single heads-up, Mio grabbed Zoe and jumped with her into the portal.

The only thing left in the corridor being the two ominous spherical shadows Mio saw on the far side...

Mio: “Damnit Zoe, this one’s one of yours!”

Zoe: “Oh, I don’t know what you mean Mio~”

Mio: “Don’t play coy with me! I know from which part of the game this is. Not to mention I got a glimpse of that giant’s hat before she left the room to get more rubber adhesive...”

Zoe: “Okay, okay you got me! What can I say, I thought this peril was extremely hot. I mean I personally wouldn’t mind a little fairy inside of my toy back home~”

Mio: “Sure, but we are not fairies. Nor do I see a way OUT once she’s sealed us into these things! Please tell me it doesn’t end the same as in the original.”

Zoe: “No No! Or, well. It doesn’t...completely.”

Mio: “ELABORATE.”

Zoe: “Well, uhm. Do you want the bad news first, or the good news?”

Mio: “Oh god, start with the BAD.”

Zoe: “So like with my previous story, this one sees us... Being used for a short-ish amount of time.”

Mio: “Define ‘short?’”

Zoe: “Two months...?”

Mio: “Damnit Zoe!!”

Zoe: “B-But then it turns out that the rubber adhesive applied to one of us was SLIGHTLY FAULTY, allowing them to ‘flop out’ of their encasement! They then will be able to eventually free the other one. Though first they need to figure out how to get out of their rubber sheath, since that one won’t be broken. And a way back into the workroom. A way to grow back to regular size. Plus doing all of that while not being spotted by the sorceress, else we’re in SERIOUS trouble...”

Mio: “Okay so what’s the good news?”

Zoe: “...That was the good news?”

Mio: “DAMNIT ZOE!!!”

Good evening peeps!

Next one of Mio and Zoe's (mis)adventures! With the pair finding themselves into another "long term" peril again, one can only hope either Mio or Zoe can make that crazy escape after two months...though I'm sure that the Deus ex Machina will come to their rescue yet again! Right? Maybe. But it sure DOES feel like either their luck will soon run out... OR there are other forces at work, which seem to make sure they keep winding up into new perils for some reason... 🤔

Anyhow the next one of Mio and Zoe's stories will go up tomorrow; I'll see ya'll then! 💪
