Back on Track? (Patreon)

Last night, I was certain that I would finish that last panel today, and finally start assembling the page. The last panel would mostly be recycled, with some minor alterations, so how tough could it be?

This morning, I woke up knowing that the panels I'd drawn wouldn't fit on the page, because there are two panels extra panels that were added after I'd created the layout. I'd already thought that it needed to be split into two pages, and taking another look at the layout confirmed it.

In the original layout, the first two panels would have been side-by-side in the top row. The third panel was originally just going to be Violet's reaction, wedged somehow between the first & second rows. "I'll figure it out", except I couldn't. It just didn't work. In situations like this, it's really easy to just not draw anything, because I lose track of time while waiting for a solution.

Now with this layout, the dialogue has more room to breathe, and I was able to add back in some lines that the old layout forced me to cut. If you're anxious for spoilers, the lettered page is up on Discord.
