During my hiatus, I would tell myself that I needed to get started on the next page, and constantly reminded myself of how long it's been since the last one, or even wondered if I should continue this particular story. There IS more to tell, and not all of it can be repurposed later...

The other day I'd finally made an effort to at least lay out this page... except I couldn't remember exactly what Alice & Violet were saying. I'd had it all scripted out for some time, only now I couldn't find that script. Not locally, at least. Fortunately it had been posted in the writer's room channel of my Discord.

Having the first page (of three) blocked in is a relief, because I wasn't sure if all of the dialogue would fit within four panels.

As long as I don't get too distracted with other things*, these pages shouldn't take TOO long to finish, since I plan on recycling the same background throughout the entire thing.

• one distraction is that gift image for my niece & nephew. I'm making slow progress, but really not enjoying my process of shading an image with colored lines...
