Hello, my beautiful people!

I can't believe it's summer, so many plans...Have you eaten kilos of strawberries already? I have and I recommend it for your summer to-do list if you have one☺️

Winters in Poland are brutal (I mean it's getting dark at 3 pm so it's a struggle for the artist who needs daylight all the time😬). I enjoy these long days and trying to get everything out of them = find a balance between "I want to go outside" vs "I want to paint more". Let's look at a second part closer as it prevails so far.

The cute giraffe you see on the cover for this post is the main character of my upcoming class on Skillshare. I will share the tutorial for my 2 tiers here on Patreon as always.

After painting the giraffe I thought that I might record a sequence of tutorials with one theme - safari animals. I've tried to paint cheetahs but found it quite difficult to catch the shape of their face correctly so decided to paint another wild cat in a more simple and relaxing way.

This watercolor paper by Winsor&Newton is affordable but has 25% cotton and it affects painting in a good way. I can recommend to try it.

And another cat I painted this weekend is a cat of my friend. I was planning to paint Sharky in February and I guess the time has finally come.

Looks like the model was not super happy about the portrait😁

Apart from my ordinary painting routine, I have in mind the idea of creating a live watercolor class with my friends in the park, but currently stuck on finding some reference photos. I'll keep you updated on how it will go!

I wish you a great summer and thank you for being here!
