It’s always a fun time when we get some Artoo and C-3PO focus, and this time definitely didn’t disappoint! Artoo is just so damn good in this series. XD

Drop your thoughts in the comments below, and as always, enjoy the ride!

Arkham Asylum 22

The arc after this can only be described as star wars Vietnam aka Darkness on Umbara

- The last time we saw Commander Wolffe was during ‘The Citadel’ arc, aiding Plo Koon. He lost his eye to Asajj Ventress during the off-screen Battle of Korm sometime between 22-21 BBY. - The clones are now officially rocking their Phase II armor (as can be scene by the smoke filters on their helmets) which was originally seen in Episode 3. This means we’re in the latter half of the war and things may be on a downward trend. The only one to keep their Phase I armor will be Rex, who prefers its more rigid protection, but he will actually cut up the best parts of the Phase II armor and attach them to his own (you can see the weld marks on his helmets mouthpiece). - I enjoy seeing lesser advanced species like the Aleena (or the Lurmen or Talz). It makes the galaxy feel more fleshed out and expanded knowing that different species are still at different levels of the technology tree and not just all working with grand metal cities and ships. The Aleena were actually originally introduced in Episode 1 with one being one of the podracers on Tatooine. Aleen is a Republic planet with a communications post and a senator as well. - The Wolffe Pack’s armor painting and decals are so cool. I love the grey paint and all the detailed designs. - Leave it to Star Wars to introduce some of the coolest species designs through the Aleen (tree people) and Sollux (Orphne) in a smaller-scale adventure (though very fun, there was a lot of cool stuff here). - Orphne was described by the writers as sort of being like how the Night Sisters are, but with the light side of the Force. They also said that she herself isn’t force sensitive, but her abilities are drawn from the Force. - The planet in ‘Nomad Droids’ is called Patitite Pattuna, with its people being called the Patitite, so you can see the pun there lol. - This two part adventure was three references in one: Willow, Gulliver’s Travels, The Wizard of Oz.

The Umbara Arc is genuinely so f*cked. 😭

Damn. Ventress took his eye? I was wondering wtf happened. I definitely like seeing the 'lesser advanced' species, as well. As you mentioned it makes it feel more alive. They're just enjoyable to watched, too. XD Oh, I didn't think she was attached to the Light Side like the Night Sisters, but that's pretty cool. I guess looking back at it, she does give off Ligth Side vibes being a plant which can be seen as 'life'. I had a feeling there were more references, but Willo and Gulliver's Travels are two I'm not super familiar with, but the latter is the one where they tie him down as a giant or something right?
