BoB2 is close, here's our update (Patreon)

Hey everyone,

It has been a few weeks since our last BoB2 update, and we have some good news. Honestly, I think it may be great news.

We know EVO2 did not land the way any of us wanted it to. That stung on our side too. We had big expectations for it, and it was clear that many of you did as well. When the final result did not match that excitement, it created real disappointment.

So moving into another new project came with risk. One thing we did not fully consider at the start was how much fatigue some of you were feeling around “new” starts. After EVO2, asking everyone to get excited about another new project was a bigger ask than we realized.

As BoB2 moved forward, that concern showed up internally too. There was a point where our testing team was worried this build might not land. The idea was interesting, the foundation was there, but the amount of meaningful content did not feel strong enough yet, especially coming after EVO2.

That internal feedback was taken seriously.

Since then, BoB2 has changed a lot. The build has grown substantially, the content has come together, and the overall experience is now much closer to what we wanted this first release to be. At this point, BoB2 has the potential to be one of the strongest first builds we have released, which is not something we say lightly.

Right now, the build is in testing. Some things are still being adjusted, and some pieces may be turned off if they are not ready, but our stance has changed pretty dramatically.

We are no longer worried that BoB2 is going to fall flat.

We think this is going to be a strong release, and we are excited for you to finally get your hands on it.
