I don't know if it's stated otherwise somewhere, but doesn't the whole alternate timeline thing imply alternate Vex Networks? As in, this timeline's Vex and the next one over are two competing factions of Vex, and not one linked system, meaning the "winning" Vex wouldn't be able to give their knowledge to the main story Vex. At least that is my idea from what I know of it. Oh, but I should mention that the simulated futures is both what I thought was canon, and what I prefer.

I wonder if the timeliness were the Vex win , they win because of randomness. Each plan could have a one out of a thousand chance and the game's timeline is being effective by the magic to increase our odds.

Loved the video you once more did an amazing job with it. A quick note though but the Renegade independent Vex do have a canon somewhat detailed explanation on how they came to be. They were "created" by Maya Sunderesh after she got the Echo of Command. Using the combined power of the Light and Darkness the Echo was made of she gave individuality to each individual Radiolaria cell which she then directed like a conductor would a chorus which gave her her super villain name. The choral vex as there known are fascinating as they are still Vex but with individual personalities allow them to form character heck one developed a burning hatred for Guardians and activaly called itself the Guardian Slayer. They grew a real fascination with Humanities and it's culture as they didn't have one of there own having just been born as individuals so using Maya who gave them there individuality they began using there simulation capabilities they simulated the golden age to study and take inspiration from to make there own culture. However ultimately they were still under Maya control forced to do her bidding. However because of Maya's actions during Edge of fate the Echo of Command was damaged and began to weaken allowing certain Vex to break away from her control. These Vex now truly free decided to take that freedom to the max and began doing crime just because they wanted to. Essentially the Vex we see in renegades are rowdy teenagers that don't have good roll models which is incredibly funny to me. I kinda hope if you do a section on the Echo's in the last video you make a short mention of the choral Vex there cool and had tons of potential even if we will never see that potential realized.

The exo amnesia cycle really reminds me of how immortals from El Goonish Shive work. After about 200 years, immortals start going insane, and need to essentially die and reincarnate to prevent this. They pass on their most important memories, but as something akin to a written summary -- and I imagine a lot of exos would do a similar thing, write down important things to get them past the amnesia.

The Networks may or may not be connected, we don't know, but the Vex Collective can 100% share information across universes and are all one thing.

Coming back from my comment on the first video, no, the Vex apparently aren’t much like the Necron XD. That said, their predictions being messed up by Magic *is* very akin to the Necron, only for the green robot boys it’s the Warp messing up their Astromancy. Also how do we know the Destiny universe exists in time that exists as a line? Could the Vex not experience all time at once as one infinite instance rather than a set progression forward? Or time as a flat plane with the Vex perpetually exploring outwards to understand different facets of it? (The metaphysics of time are awful XD)

Fair, but bigger question, can't the Vex just Red War us and steal/redevelop the anti-Traveler tech while overwhelming the Guardians with sheer numbers, regardless of other timelines? That was what I thought the Vex were going to end up doing with the Vex/Cabal fighting that happened on a couple destinations, but never was addressed

Time for me to decide if I want my Destiny OC to be an Exo or not - I can hear the fear in Matt's voice - I feel like one or more of the writers heard about Conway's game and was so autistic about it they brought a version of it into Destiny lore lmao - OH SHIT that's cool as hell, pre-universe 'life' trying to take over the fabric of the universe is really neat - It's technically a hivemind too? Dang this shit rips - Eyyy there's the Ghost I remember seeing on stream and in backgrounds. Also fun to learn what Vtubers Matt watches lol - I seeeeeee, that's why they're not actually time travellers - I really like that the Vex is an antagonistic force unconnected to the Winnower beyond being ..inspired for lack of a better word by the Witness - Or I guess the time travel hasn't been explained yet? - I really like the general body plan of the standard Vex mechs, the super wide heads with mono-eyes are cool - The Vex Network is the closest thing to architecture in this which means I have to point out how damn cool it looks - Let's do the time warp again - That's what I thought! And of course it wasn't what stuck, dang it - Holy shit the Vault of Glass looks sick, I love how many triangles the Vex use - Fuuuuuck I'm so sick of multiverse bullshit, that explanation sucks and I'm sticking to the simulation explanation - EXO TIME MOTHERFUCKERS FINALLY - Holy shit Clovis suuuuuucks - A PRION DESEASE?? - This is reminding me of Replikas from Signalis (among other things) and unironically cybernetic replicas of humans gaining their own independence and self-actualising is one of my favourite tropes, I fuckin love that shit so much - Nice one Clovis, ya fucked everything up - Ah yeah I was wondering how the Exos would end up as Guardian candidates, plus the memory loss helps with avoiding DER in Guardians (if that's even a thing) - WE GOT A TRANS ROBOT GIRL FUCK YEAH - I could go into a whole spiel about how cybernetics are a near-universal desire for transfems in my experience - Oh shit that number explanation is super clever - Does make me wonder if Guardian Exos have the memory leak or if their resurrection by their Ghosts stops DER from happening at all - Well shit, at least the writers could kiss the brick before throwing it - Ahhhh that's why you mentioned [Exo]-44 earlier - Yooooo the Conductor's design rules - To wrap up, is my OC going to be an Exo? Yes absolutely this is awesome
