The site is done!

EROS HQ goes live with 0.17.

WHAT'S BEHIND THE DOOR

The site reads your 'clearance' and serves you your version (early release, public release, whatever aligns) — no hunting through post history for the right link, no wrong-version downloads, no wondering whether you're on the current build.

For every supporter tier, that means two things waiting for you the moment you sign in:

  • The early access release — the newest build for our veteran supporters, playable in the browser the second it's live.

  • The current live release right there alongside it. Hotfixes drop? You'll find them live on the site, ready for you!

  • The public build for everyone else.

And if you'd rather hold a copy of your own: downloadable zips of your version, yours to keep, play offline, back up, whatever you like.

It's been the biggest single piece of technical work happening this cycle. Thank Zachari!

THE DATES

August 2 — Public 0.15. Free build, everybody.

August 5 — 0.17 early access AND EROS HQ (the website build), together.

NEW ART

Three new pieces of passage art this week, and they earn their rating — Datu's path and Zohran's -- honeypot content getting the illustrations they're owed. More will come in future releases.

Also in: HD assets for the new hair styles. The doll keeps getting sharper — every style now rendering in full resolution instead of making do.

That's on top of the twenty-five passage art pieces from last week and LewdPirate's ongoing doll work. A very strong art month!

Club Work Days + Nate's Arc

Another day has been integrated along all three tracks and the drug undercurrent is going to reach a higher peak -- no pun intended.

Nate's arc is reaching its peak as well with a planned resolution in the next couple releases. I hope you've been enjoying it. Claire sure has ;)

In the online version of the game, I suppose all the saves will be stored in the cloud or on the new website itself. If you can access all the saves, does that mean there will be no more bugs? 🤣👍. Just kidding! But I suppose knowing the username will suffice; there'll be no more waiting for them to upload the save with the critical crash/bug 😜.

We'll still need the save since we won't have access to your saves. It'll still require the same process, but now we can push hotfixes with many fewer steps

Is there a plot yet where the dancer / bartender role gets pushed to be a prostitute? after the party, do they force her into the new role?

After the Big Event and depending on some choices as a dancer. I'll leave it at that

Yes, there used to be a bug where, if your character refused the offer to become a prostitute, no more dancer events would be available for the next few days and the game would softlock. More workdays have been added in recent versions, so hopefully this has been resolved 🙏.

Hi! I finally gave this a try after circling around it for some time. I have to say one of the most beautyful twine games I have seen. One concern: I tried it as it says you can have a lesbian character. I have no interest in reading my MC talking about dick and how great it feels to get railed. That is nothing I am interested in personally. I like tits and Pussy. In the prologue however you very strongly discourage from choosing the lesbian path and say to take at least the bi route. Will she tell me how beautyful and muscular and hard all these men are on the bi path. Or can she at least be "lesbian at heart" and just use them to get to her Goal and not lust about them all the time? Thx in advance!

Hi! I'm glad you appreciate all of the work we've done! Unfortunately, as stated multiple times in the Prologue and elsewhere -- the game is heavily MF focused. A bi path will definitely talk about the attractiveness and lust for men as well. We've done our best to allow lesbian Claire's to play and not be into men, but almost assuredly she will be having male on female sex.

Okay, so even on the lesbian path there is Sex with dudes? If she has to resort to it as a means to an end but does not Tell me all the time how much she is into dudes I think I would try nontheless. And on the bi path she then enjoys being with men then?

We've tried to make sure that a lesbian is a lesbian. Almost assuredly sex with men but that doesn't mean she's chasing it or enjoying it. She shouldn't be relating being 'attracted' or being into guys at all. The opposite, in fact. At least that's what we've tried to code!

Okay, thanks for clearing that up. Then I will try that path. Maybe consider emphasising this in the prologue a bit more instead of saying "from a developer point of view: don't Go lesbian."
