0.15 Progress Report — Week 2 (Patreon)
Content
You voted for Super Senior. It's done.
The entire arc — from the gut-punch of failing to the next year's graduation day (or not) — is composed and integrated into the game. Fifteen passages. Two sex scenes. An Elle thread that hits differently depending on whether she was your mother or a stranger. Cheating consequences and how does that significant other and your other friends react to you being held back.
This was the content poll winner and we're hoping it meets your expectations! If your MC's grades weren't good enough, she now has a real fifth year — not a consolation prize, but a complete arc with its own friendships, mistakes, and stakes. That means that this path results in the oldest path in the game, highest potential skills, talents and traits, but at the cost of time. The longest Prologue looks something like: Creation > High School > Super Senior > Gap Year > University > Act I.
WHAT ELSE IS NEW THIS WEEK
Hotfix 0.14.3 is live. More community-flagged issues patched. Keep them coming.
The equipment carry system we teased last week is built. If you weighed in on Wednesday's Design Dilemma #3 — What's in Your Bag?, your input is actively shaping how this feels in practice. Each item has tradeoffs that ripple through content in ways we think you'll find surprising.
We also completed a retroactive quality pass across all of Act I. Two systems that were partially implemented are now fully woven into every relevant scene: the organization's suspicion (Design Dilemma #2) of your character now colors NPC behavior and ambient prose at three distinct thresholds, and your spy training now produces visible payoffs across missions, investigations, and operations — not just the scenes where you learned the skill. This was roughly 600 lines of new reactive content added into existing passages.
The Prologue proof and clean continues. We're now over halfway through the pre-High School file — prose tightened, pacing improved, and newer systems retroactively woven in.
Separately, we completed a full macro audit across all six Prologue files: nearly 1,400 individual macro calls checked, a handful of bugs caught and fixed, and a standardization pass that makes the underlying code more consistent.
This is the kind of work that doesn't make for exciting screenshots, but it's the difference between a game that feels polished and one that has rough edges in its earliest hours.
WHAT'S BUILDING
Nine approved content workstreams for v0.15 are in various stages of composition. Super Senior is the first across the finish line. More are in progress.
Next week I'll have something to share about a character you haven't spent much time with outside the Club — and what happens when you do.
COMMUNITY
0.14.3 exists because you reported bugs. Seriously — the turnaround from report to patch has been days, not weeks. If something's off, #bug-extermination on Discord.
Fan content contest remains at one submission. We just gonna hand it to Bulb?
