Badaaaaa buuuuuuuu

Tripp

My favorite Rocky of these early movies besides creed. Well maybe not favorite but the one Iv seen the most

Antonio

We’re here! 🥊

Ron B.

The woman playing Drago's wife ( Bridget Nielson) was engaged to Sylvester Stallone at this time by the way. They got married shortly after this.

Marvin Dawkins

Get through part 5 without losing hope and we back on track

ajspay

YES!!! 🔥🔥🔥

Dexifae

yeah in the 80s the robot craze was booming Johnny 5 from Short Circuit being one of the most memorable robot from that era, along with terminator's and r2d2

Kevin Lauture

1-4 are all classics to me. Just gotta get through 5, ready for the Creed movies to start 🔥

Tripp

Damn. I never remembered this movie being so short.

Theo Sebuliba

Yeah the bulk of the movie is straight montages

Blade

Juat skip 5 please 🤣

Theo Sebuliba

Oh boy here come the YouTube comments saying Vince needs his black card revoked for not knowing James brown songs, I can already see them

Night King01

What about Rocky Balboa. 6 is one of the best

Night King01

The one thing thats sorely missing is Bill Contis music. There is definitely something lost without him and his iconic music.

Swerv

hopefully all can watch Under the same moon by Patricia riggen. it honest a really emotional and great movie.

Night King01

Damn. Part of me wishes you guys watched the directors cut. It’s Stallone’s preferred version. It also goes into more of Dragos story and him being taken advantage of by his country using him as a propaganda tool. And they replaced a lot of scenes to give it more dramatic weight. They cut out the robot for one.

Night King01

Probably one of the most 80s movies thats ever been made.

Dexifae

You guys would love The Americans, it's very russian vs americans coded

Night King01

I think even Stallone acknowledges this is the one people have watched the most. I don’t think it’s the best but this was at the height of the 80s excess and Stallone’s battle with Arnold for king of the box office was red hot. This whole movie is everything iconic and dated of the 80s distilled into one film.

Dexifae

The training montage I interpret as The Analog vs The Digital Raw human power vs the artificial

Craig Brown

Are you guys gonna check out Creed series after this?

Tjbosslyfe

Micheal B Jordan said that it's a part of the franchise everyone has to get actually knocked out with a real punch. I think Micheal b Jordan released the footage on a interview. You have to take some real shots to make the movie look as real as possible.

Tjbosslyfe

Part 5 they will get back to great storytelling you missed from the franched that's all I can say about the next movie .

Tjbosslyfe

It was just 5 parts for the longest . Then they made Rocky 6 which is called Balboa . I seen it once. I would skip it. I put it in the category of Terminator 4 or 3 for some people . They should have stopped at Rocky 5 . After that they do the creed movies .

Kevin Lauture

Yes Rocky Balboa is great as well

Tony

My favorite rocky movie

Bkk02

People genuinely comment that stuff ??

Theo Sebuliba

Well not all the time, but yeah I’ve seen those comments on the channel before on YouTube

Kickinthescience

Although this movie has the most iconic villain of the franchise

Mister Lou

Get On Up is an amazing James Brown movie, where Black Panther kills it!

Mark

Vince: Stallone told Dolph Lundgren (Drago) to give him everything he got and hit him for real. Stallone ended up in the hospital at one point. They really did do some damage to each other. Yes Vince this was during the cold war. When Russia and America beat Nazi Germany with their allies it was decades of bad blood between the two Super Powers. Eastern block dominated by the Soviet Union and Western block dominated by the U.S.A. while we never fought each other we fought via proxy wars using other countries such as Vietnam.

ToyMan

Great reaction . Yes this movie was released during the Cold War with the Soviet Union. I watched this one a lot growing up ,but I think my favorite would probably be Rocky 3. They’re all great though IMO …really looking forward to you guys finishing the Rocky series then moving on to Creed. Please don’t skip the next Rocky movies. A lot of the OG fans don’t care much for them but they’ve grown on me over the years and have some powerful messages. Most reactors I’ve seen that watch Rocky 5 and 6, end up liking them .

Ryudo

Definitely one of my fav Rocky movies. Shame that the Russian dialog wasn't translated in this version's subtitles that you were watching.

Jade

Yeah they definitely should get through all Rocky movies before Creed. Excited for Creed tho because part of Rocky’s story still follows into Creed. I enjoy how it was all done.

Jade

You can’t skip Rocky Balboa there is a lot of things they need to know. They will be asking way too many questions in Creed 1 about Rocky stuff if they skip the 6th & final Rocky Balboa.

Brian McG

I think it's a safe bet that they will. They love the story universe and I can't really see that changing.

Jo

You should have watched a version with the Russian translated subs

Daniel P Omes

You should check out a movie called warrior. Its a mma movie.

Sllumpy

Yall missed your chance to release Halloween on Halloween

Justin M Borowski

I don't really know, but I do know from personal anecdotes that colorism is sometimes just as widespread as racism. This wouldn't be colorism per se, but it does vaguely resembled "not black enough" type comments.

Theo Sebuliba

Yeah that’s what I meant basically

bradical131

Rocky IV has always been my fav. Rocky 5 is almost unanimously agreed to be awful, which it is... but Rocky(which is really just rocky 6) and the Creed movies are all amazing!

Tjbosslyfe

There's 6 movies not 7 . That movie is not needed . I'll leave it that that .

James Nyman

After 5, comes 6 Rocky Balboa is my all time favorite Rocky movie from Stallone’s movies. The famous speech about never giving up and always looking to better yourself and too keep on coming forward is such a universal, powerful speech. Can’t wait!

Drockz50

This one my fav another good reaction vid keep it going lol.

Walt

Please do NOT skip 5
