Yeah I didnā€™t wanna spoil it but the death song is the same for each family member, the differences lie in the preceding dialogue (and succeeding dialogue for two versions) the exact sound effects and the respective physical comedy to go with them.

I loved checking out each death for the differences in dialogue, and just to see how each of them performed the song. But also I still enjoy fart humor lol. Cast recording-wise (yes, each one made it to the cast recording), grandpaā€™s is my favorite, but the live performance goes to the daughter for me

That squeak at the very end is honestly the most relatable thing you've ever done LMAO šŸ¤£. Also loved the reaction! The death song is a rough one but it's so well choreographed that it's kinda impressive lol. I could never watch all the endings though, that'd be too much.

This musical is just pure joy for me. I never watch TTO and come out the other end feeling sad or upset. Sometimes musicals need to be fun! I'm not normally a big fart joke person either, but I did watch a LOT of South Park throughout my formative years, and the captions on this are brilliant. "a descending arpeggio of farts... a fartpeggio if you will" is the funniest joke in the show that's not TECHNICALLY in the show, Personally I think Cory/Gramps sings this best, Jamie/Daughter has the best story bits around her death, and Jeff/Father has the best physical comedy in his. Naked in a lake is also just suchhhhh a bop! And yeah Jeff plays the sax live. I've enjoyed watching reactors who used to do band as kids because they'll comment EXTENSIVELY about the sax being backstage only until the end with no warm up and reeds and what not. It's pretty kewl even though I don't really understand any of it. (Any fellow autists with a special interest of wind instruments or related who want to educate me in a reply please do! Break it down in as much detail as you want I'm here for it! =^) )

yeah the father's is my favorite comedically (Jeff is hilarious), Grandpa's is my favorite vocally (Coreys voice is so smooth in that lower range dear lord!), and mother's is my favorite continuity wise (it fits best with established character arcs, although there's an argument to be made for father's death fitting well too). The children's deaths are my least favorites (except for the shaming of the audience for making such a choice. that's gold)

I was concerned at first but honestly this is just really funny how you had the completely wrong idea of what the ending was gonna be and how different the actual endings are. I guess this is a bit of another symptom of knowing Starkid mostly for their recent more serious shows vs how the older ones are significantly sillier, though this show probably does still have the silliest ending in Starkid history

Ok, one note on the rest of the endings: do not assume you know how something is gonna play out just because it did for the others. I have this dreadful feeling you might miss the funniest joke in all these endings because of that so just make sure to watch the character-unique part of the endings all the way through.

The one moment where Mortiusā€™ commitment to their own chosen TTO character names was a detriment to the reactionā€¦ because when the scene calls for a character to die of dysentery, the best line of dialogue immediately after the reveal is, ā€œNo, not my Craphole!ā€

I find You Gotta Go really funny - partly because I love a fart joke but also because itā€™s taken so seriously at the same time. Also I think Joey making every fart noise is the funniest thing, just him sitting on the side of the stage making fart noises into his elbow for 3ish minutes.

This was back before they had extra filming days, those started during the Hatchet Field shows, so they only had the cameras for the recording one night so, while they did give the audience a choice for most performances, the night they recorded the audience actually got to see all of the endings, they only sang the finale once though I believe šŸ˜‚
