The FIFA World Cup is an international association football competition among the senior men's national teams of the members of the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), the sport's global governing body. The tournament has been held every four years since the inaugural tournament in 1930, with the exception of 1942 and 1946 during and shortly after World War II. The reigning champion is Spain, who won their second title at the 23rd edition of the competition, the 2026 World Cup, by defeating the holders, Argentina.[1]

Ok I get everyone's point about the 3 min water breaks grinding everything to a halt, but I raise you the MILLION AND ONE BREAKS American football takes every [what feels like and sometimes is] 30 seconds for commercials, coaches arguing with each other, injuries, etc... It turns a game that could be a simple 2 hours max (the clock is only 60 min mind you!) into what is an AVERAGE 3 hour game!

I agree. American football is boring AF. 3 hours of game time for maybe 30 minutes of actual game. Tied for tedium with baseball.

The only thing I learned from this is that England needs to up their bribesm
