I’m opening up a new chapter for S1gns Of L1fe Audio and I’m looking for a small group of iPad users who would like to help beta test my plugins.

Developing for iPad is a new side of the process for me. While the core instruments remain the same, bringing them into a touch-based environment means rethinking certain parts of the interface, interaction, sizing, and overall workflow so they feel natural when you’re working directly with your hands. As you can see from the screenshots, the interfaces have changed slightly to better accommodate the iPad format, and I’m excited to start putting these builds into real-world use.

The first two plugins ready for testing are Glitchwork and Airglow.

Testing will be handled through TestFlight, Apple’s official system for distributing beta versions of apps before they are publicly released. You’ll receive an invitation from Apple, install the free TestFlight app on your iPad, and from there you’ll be able to install the beta builds and receive updated versions as development continues.

I’m looking for people who are willing to actually spend some time with the plugins, try them in their normal iPad music-making workflow, experiment with the touch interface, and let me know if anything behaves unexpectedly or could be improved.

If you’re interested, send me a direct message with the email address associated with your Apple Account. I’ll add you to the testing group and send over a TestFlight invitation.

This is an exciting next step for my journey into software development, and I’m looking forward to seeing these instruments take on a new life on iPad.

Cheers,Chris
