Masque Kronii - Progress III (Patreon)

Usually I don't post the background sketch because I change my ideas a lot when rendering the background and It's just a big spoiler for the finished artwork. However, today is the last day of October so I think I need to post something before the new month comes. 

I think I will need to add more things for the midground and drawing something outside the door to give this work more depth. The building frame is okay for now I think but I feel it still lacks something to make it better. I'm gonna need to put my mind at ease and find more ideas for it before I start to render everything. I have to discard the background once because it's not good enough for adding more stuff to it. The hardest part when making a background besides technical is just answering the question : "What should I put in". That is why this part takes the most time and is very important though.

I tried to sketch the background for Kronii right after I finished the sketch for the project but It's just no good at all. After I made one, my brain was completely exhausted and burned out. Really can't come up with anything after a day's rest and going out. 

I'm trying my best to get this work finished as soon as possible. After I failed with the quickwork experiment, we don't have any great work for this month so please don't mind me being hasty.

Woah, right on the table, that looks spicy! I think it's cool to see the sketch even if it transforms into something different by the final idea. The interim idea might be different but it's fun to see what you were thinking about as you worked on the piece. Is the background something we can help with? I think since it seems to be a dining room you could maybe put in like a serving cart or something like that up closer to the table? You could also put some knocked over food and drink around Kronii. Like, we couldn't even wait to finish dinner to get busy. In any case, I hope you feel inspired! I'm sure something will click eventually. We should definitely both try to rest when possible. Thank you, of course, for the update!

Hm... that is actually a good idea. I need to test it and combine it with my ideas so no promise. Anyway, thank you for your suggestion. It will be done soon. Things got so tight lately that it's hard to rest at ease. I need to finish this one asap and begin new work. I know it will be even more tight when I start the project again but let me try my best for a better future then. Hope you are doing well bro ! Let's try our best !

Thank you man ! I posted this first to get some peace of mind before the new month came before I spent all day fixing the sketch. Everything is ready now, I'm rendering it right now. I will make sure it will be even better when you see the finished artwork !
