VIP Poll Result - The Holodeck (Patreon)

Hi,

Regarding the long postponed Upgrade of the Holodeck there was a VIP Poll running over the last week. Specifically, which content should be featured in a revamped Holodeck first.

Poll Options were

Misc. fantasy holodeck scenarios (e.g. Adventures on the Lizard World...). Full Minimaps, high effort

RPG Arena training levels

Crew Pony racing track

None, the base scenario with Vee is enough

Something else (please comment)

There were a total of 113 votes among Patreon (103) and Subscribestar. The Top 3 options were

Position 1: 55 Votes - Misc. fantasy holodeck scenarios

Position 2: 47 Votes - Crew Pony racing track

Position 3: 9 Votes - Something else

Considering that the result was so close, I plan a content focus in V2.55 on

Upgrading the holodeck to support more complex scenarios (holodeck manager module, context switching for programs, ...) and for testing purposes implementing Mini Adventure "Lizard World" (maybe already in a DEV version to test the switching end of Sep)

Proceed with Vee's development to obtain a Pet Trainer License / Expert license for her

Using that license to operate a crew pony racing holodeck scenario (including utilizing blender for better fitting the pony tacks maybe ;) ...)

This should also address some of the requests that came in under "something else". That scope is also the maximum mechanics changes I want for the stabilizing release. TLDR: New holodeck is coming, lizard world mini scenario and crew pony racing track will be two programs.I hope that sound interesting for all patrons. Thanks to all who voted in the Poll!
