Megan's Adventures - Mini Story (Patreon)

Hi!

We asked you in the poll last week about which character would you like to see more of in a form of a short story, and you definitely have spoken!

In this short story (and our hearts), Megan is the main character and you get to follow her on her mini adventure!

Megan: (To think I came early for them to be late... So much for a "famous'" record label.)

Megan: (Should I just bail? Ugh, but I need this! This could be my lucky break! I'd kill to get this gig, even if it means sucking up to these motherfuc-)

Y/N: "Miss Megan? Apologies for the wait."

Megan: *fake polite chuckle* "Oh, no, not at all-You!?"

Y/N: "Megan, it's really you!"

Megan: "It's been so long!"

Y/N: "Too long... When I was told about the "new promising talent", something told me it might be you. Had to come in person to make sure."

Y/N: "Come, let's talk more in my office."

Megan: "Thought you'd never ask." *giggle* Megan: (He's the head of recruitment? Who would've thought it'd be the guy that was obsessed with me back in the day...)

Megan: (This really COULD be my lucky break!)

Y/N: (This'll be fun...)

*door clicks*

Megan: "So, how you've been?"

Y/N: "Can't complain, as you can tell."

Megan: "This still feels surreal. Can't lie, I never imagined you'd be the one with my career in their hands."

Y/N: "Crazy how the universe works..."

Megan: "Some might call it fate."

Y/N: "Drink?"

Megan: "I shouldn't, but if it'll put me in your good grace..." *chuckle*

Y/N: "From where I'm standing, the contract is as good as yours."

Megan: (Just like that!?) Megan: "Cheers to having friends in high places."

Y/N: "Cheers to "fate"."

Y/N: "Although, I still need to evaluate your skills, formalities sake."

Megan: *chuckle* "Doubting me already?"

Y/N: "Just... Making sure this "arrangement" isn't based solely on my outdated impression."

Megan: (I'm suddenly getting nervous... Was he always so... Overwhelming?) Megan: "This is a new song I've been working on..."

Megan: (I've been at it for a few minutes now! Why isn't he saying anything?)

Megan: "I... *cough* Umm, that's just the first draft so..." Megan: (Does he not like it or something?)
