Just land us somewhere isolated and we'll see if we can buy a household power-beam grid TCS from a local, they're sure to have a backup, and I'm certain I can recalibrate one and make it work."Eric guides the Akuma Maru 悪魔丸 down on the planet's night side and finding a lone house on a hill, guides the ship down to land next to it.Dmitri leaves the cockpit and exits into the chill night air. Eric follows a few minutes later, climbing down the ladder of the ship's access hatch and onto the cold ground.Eric has seen hundreds of alien worlds, but there is something unusual about this alien's residence; dozens of strange markers in the front yard, roughly hewn wooden boxes with skeletal hands, burning candles, glowing orange caricatures on the porch of some deity perhaps?Dmitri is there holding a small orange object with a caricature painted on it and looking confused as Eric arrives.
