Just thought I'd share a sweet song I've been listening to while working on the latest page. I was listening to the Final Fantasy 8 OST a lot too~

I want to personally thank you for generously staying subbed to this tier and share some random musings.

I'm on my phone and a bit scatterbrained at work so I may do this in multiple comments but omg I can understand stress affecting libido. I've been through it and finally taking baby steps to a stable mind and day, but because I'm recovering and still stressed that libido is like a deflated balloon rn 🤣 Libido, sexual energy, etc is all technically creation energy. When you're stressed or not feeling safe and stable, your body doesn't really wanna "create" if that makes sense. It's preserving the energy. WAIT i have my ipad haha! I can look at the text and type on my phone. (Also, I'll be back & re-pledged over the weekend. The 1st is falling between checks 🥲 so all of Patreon is on pause rn lol) I haven't commented in a while but from time to time I do hope you're doing well. Or I see plants and fungi and think of your art and collection. Just been packed up. I do hope something comes along that both preserves your health without sacrificing anything and helps any neuro-related blocks, roadbumps, etc improve. The 'Rona had me bad and I'm still struggling with stress, memory, cognitive functions in general, movement, mood, and a cauldron of spiritual stuff. It's def gotten better. Slow progress. 👍🏾 Us artists are emotional people usually with a brain bucket of "we ain't sure what this is either but uh... Yeah. The bad and the good and all is mixed in it plus some dangerous stuff but, eh." 😂 I'm excited to see what's explored next. You're doing great! 🙌🏾

Ah, one more. I forgot. (Told ya. Scatterbrain ✨🧠 ✨) A deep connection with the vulnerability, profound emotions, working through your own past and anything your figuring out in the present were all things I wanted for a relationship. Then my trust in people one by one got plucked. No one was as close as I thought. I couldn't explain myself. Didn't know how to get others to understand. Felt constantly taken advantage of. Felt so lost. The thought of trying to mend that, put aside the pain or to even let it be and let it dissipate, to not let these vulnerable points be things I'm afraid to share with someone, that's where I'm stuck right now. I don't know if I could do it. Wrote this out last night, slept on it, woke up this morning realizing and feeling, "Yes, I do still want to try," because maybe this time I'll fly and not fall. But really because we do deserve love. We're beings who love and crave it. Once you separate from the world's agenda, it feels you're fighting on proud mode or world level 13 with a level 1 stick that gets taken away after the intro. I'm stubborn. So I'll still hold to hope and believe, but right now I'm enjoying caring for myself in much better ways.

It's ok to be vulnerable. It shows your strength and growth. Take each day as it comes and you'll soon realize that you can conquer anything thrown at you. You know yourself best so you do what you need to do to take care of yourself. Human connection is essential to life. Be it in person or making friends online, everyone needs support. It's ok to share your feelings. ❤️

Firstly, I think you are doing a beautiful job with the comic. Showing they are becoming more comfortable together and learning to trust is a beautiful thing. This first time is important, but its a step in their relationship, not the relationship be-all, and end-all. So bravo on that. Secondly, I can relate, SO HARD, to refusing anxiety meds because the importance of a physical aspect of a relationship. The emotional connection, supported and reaffirmed by sex, is an incredibly powerful buey. Don't feel as if you are somehow wrong for making that choice. Only YOU can know what you need most. Lastly, please don't feel bad for sharing. For stepping out of your comfort zone in order to grow and telling us how scary it is and why. It enables us to relate to you more directly, and encourage you. Personally, I am incredibly impressed by your strength and determination. Im cheering for you, so very much. You got this honey. Its scary af, but you got this and you are doing a brilliant job. Jane

Thank you for sharing the song

It's ok~ I'm scatter brain too lol Thank you for sharing something so personal. It's a relief to read this from another artist's perspective. The idea of our libido being tied to creative energy makes a ton of sense. I imagine energetic, productive people have healthy sexual drives, but I could be wrong. Another thing I didn't want to happen from meds is a dampening of my emotions overall. I don't think you can pick and choose which emotions to suppress. I guess it's difficult to appreciate the highs without the lows. I'm glad plants and fungi reminded you of me. I felt like I didn't really have anything that made me stand out, but naturally it came from just sharing things I just like. Thanks for the well wishes. It's a gradual healing process for me too. Sleeping consistently for long enough is still something I really struggle with. Quiet early mornings are really nice. I'm the same with the trust thing. Had some bad experiences lately with that, but I told myself it's important not to let that taint your experiences with others because you could lose out on some great relationships, platonic or romantic, if you close yourself off to everyone. I'm rooting for you, thanks for rooting for me too <3

Thank you Mally for the kind words <3 I had the courage to share the more I hear from others who share their own personal struggles. It helps to humanize the person behind the screen.

Thank you Jane for always rooting for me as well <3 Initially I was going to reserve their first time for some grand moment, but most relationships don't work that way. I don't have to restrict myself to the laws of reality in a fictional space, but the idea of Ellie and Grave just going about their adult lives and slowly building a deeper connection with each other through many sexual and emotional experiences is beautiful to me. Yep~ some people judge others for feeling like it could be a negative thing, when objectively it does have major potential risks like infertility, dampening both positive and negative emotions, and addiction depending on the type of meds. It's not something doctors have completely figured out. I have sympathy for people who feel like they have no other options such as the person I mentioned in the original post, and sometimes I consider going down the same route too, but I'm trying my best to live without those risks. Not that there aren't risks for avoiding medicinal treatments. It's just a matter of measuring the risks and making a decision based on that. Thanks again Jane <3 I intend to share more posts. There's a channel on Youtube that explores certain Japanese artist's mindset and creative process in more depth, and it inspired me to try and do the same. The channel is called Archipel.
