As a tourist from Europe, I was very positively surprised by the public transportation in and around Miami. Yes, the buses are slow (especially the trolley at Miami Beach) and I didn't fully understand the schedule. The people mover runs so slow and has such a short route that it is usually faster to walk. But I always got where I need to go without taking a single car ride.
