"a new Joan of Arc", "a mighty warrior queen to lead us to salvation", "the vampire Messiah" what do you think of these titles that have now already been used to decorate our seemingly grand antagonist of this series without us yet even knowing her face, especially since personally these very "holy" imageries like Joan of Arc and a Messiah are being used for a vampire of all things, even by a priest and Boeing the previous iteration was not shying away from criticising religious history and brutality in worship?

In the first series, we learned that Forgemasters like Isaac and Hector work through an instrument, and the way that souls would interact with them as night creatures. So what do you make of not only the reveal that the Abbott is a Forgemaster, but the contraption he uses? Do you think this roundabout method will will have an effect on Eduoard and others turned?
