Bandcamp synchronization is here! (Patreon)

Not even the oracles foresaw it!

After banging my head with their API for an admin project I had for MGS earlier this year, I thought it would be impossible to connect our database to their system.

I was wrong.

I tried again recently and saw some option I wasn't aware of (or maybe options that weren't here before).

Consequence?

You can now connect your Bandcamp account to our TTRPG Audio Database. Your purchases are recognized automatically, all the way back to your very first one, as long as the album exists in our database as a 1:1 match.

How it works:

• Same email on both accounts? Just connect to the database and your purchases should already be waiting for you.

• Different emails? Link them here: MGS Audio Database

• New purchases? Rights transfer within an hour, to the same email address.

⚠️ Before you link anything: double check you're connecting the right accounts. The link is permanent, and if you get it wrong there is nothing we can do on our end to undo it. Take the extra thirty seconds.

Thanks for relentlessly spamming me about this. It forced me to look again, and it turned out well. I would like to be very clear that this does not mean spamming me works, and I will be patching that exploit shortly.

Thanks for your support.
