Included in Monthly Downloads for September 2026 Patrons Here: DOWNLOADS.....................................................................File Update: September 6th... Improved standing functionality, especially for colored versions. The backpack could be very heavy depending on your settings, so I have adjusted the center of gravity :) ............................September marks the 4 year anniversary of one of my favorite designs, the Skeleton Astronaut. I have been wanting to update this model for so long! Many, many of my original supporters encouraged me to get this accomplished, with some excellent suggestions 🙏 Thank you all for your continued support!!!

The Silly Skeleton was my very first ever Flexi Character. I am so excited to add a (Flexi Factory original) standing feature, a pop-on Jetpack to give it more of a 360 feel, and a Moon stand!

Happy Printing -Dan*Please consider tagging @flexifactory/ #flexifactory in your social posts so I can see your amazing prints! AND make sure to share in the private Flexi Factory discord :) Members can join through the settings/apps tab or direct link in pinned post.

Print tips and Info:

STL and 3MF files are included. * If you use the 3mf file, please remember that it is a painted project file for your convenience. You must check your material/printer/settings to make sure it works correctly for your printing project.

I print with .12 or .16 layer height for quality.

As usual, make sure you have good adhesion, especially for the mini versions. A glue stick works or I have switched to using on all my machines... a BIQU Cryopgrip Frostbite adhesion plate.

I successfully test printed between 60% and 130% for this design.

Gradient PLA works well with this model: I have a comprehensive list of Filament I use here: Amazon List

1st photo has 100% 3MF: Polymaker Teal, Ziro White Marble, E Sun Silver and Mint Green, Stronhero Galaxy Purple, Eryone Burnt Titanium, Creality Blue, Anycubic Black and Sunlu White

2nd photo has 100% 3MF: Eryone Burnt Titanium, Ziro Marble White, Polymaker Teal, Stronghero Glitter Purple

3rd Photo shows the cracked sliding helmet: Sunlu Silver, Anycubic red, Ziro Diamond Black and Amolen Blue/Green Silk

4th Photo has 115% and 80% STL: Cookiecad Mermaid and iSanmate Rainbow

Printing now! Using U1... 17hrs to go.... Reminds me of Vashta Nerada in Doctor Who when they take over the bodies - very cool!!

This went on the h2c snapper being used for a paid order lol but it’s on 23 hours Togo lol

Dan

No, it is a design from 4 years ago that was only available to members that month. I redesigned it to stand and added the accessories. I also redesigned to color for 3mf machines.

Printable3dLab

tried printing on 2 different printers and all 3 had layer shifted in the same spot. anyone else have this issue?

ken kaiden

Great print, however is anyone having problems making it stand up?

Millian Designs

So awesome! Your work is on a different level, thanks for what you do!

Dan

Could be a travel speed issue for complex geometry. If you open troubleshoot on discord with photos and settings we can discuss more. I test with 5 different types of machines and not had any layer shifting.

Dan

It may be depending on how you print the backpack. Lots of colors and infill can make it heavy. Spreading the feet should counter balance that.

My daughter bought this print fro.m someone at a festival. We both loved it sooo much that I bought a new 3d printer, discovered your stuff and instanaly became a fan. Im so thrilled to finally have the file!!!

Gabriel

You need to make an XXL version

Sam Marley

Dan
