This one will be quick. Thank you all for bearing with me here.

It's been extremely productive to just sit down and write as much as I can on one book. I've found a pace that seems to work for me and it's a bit slower than Writeathon, but with some dedicated practice I think I can put out about five chapters a week with some solid line-editing. Most of you have been around long enough to know that I prefer putting out polished chapters rather than rough drafts. I'm sure I could go faster just posting brain-dumps, but then I wouldn't be happy with the final product.

Lastly, some timelines, assuming I can keep things reasonable with a newborn:

Part 1 of Runeforged Book 3 is done and will start posting mid-June.

Around that same time, I'll be starting up the writing process for Rivera's Repairs Issue #4. Chapter releases here will likely be slower than normal as I still need to focus on finishing Runeforged for Aethon Books. I'm going to shoot to have a chapter for you all by the end of June and see where I end up. There might only be weekly chapters for a while.

I'll be showing off the artwork for the cover and a fun recording of the design process to help fill the gaps. I also have an idea for an Issue #4 and #5 poll set for patrons as a way of thanking you for sticking with me. I want you to have a say in some things to drive the story, namely around class evolutions. Stay tuned, those should be out soon.

Book 1 of Runeforged is going to stub in late July. I'll share dates here, but most of you are pretty far ahead.

And if I go dark for a couple of weeks, just know that I'm still working here for all of you when I can. But if you have kids, you know how the newborn phase and lack of sleep can be. Here's hoping I don't totally botch chapter writing :)

Cheers.

Quick question, how many books are planned for Rivera?

M.S. Davidson

Well I've outlined to Issue 5, so at least two more. But I would need 6, I think, to give a satisfying cutoff point if that's where I wanted to end it. The original plan was 9, but that can change.

Sorry to say newborn baby and sleep is an oxymoron. Those two things do not go together
