the actress who plays Maarva (Fiona Shaw) yes, played Aunt Petunia in the Harry Potter movies. She was also in a fantastic show Killing Eve that stars Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer. That show should be put on a must watch list if not already.

The Deputy Inspector had one of the best "I'm cooked" faces at the end there

Bix is not from Cassian’s home planet of Kenari. It was Cassian’s friend Brasso who attached that huge chunk of scrap metal to the pod that the guy who shot Timm and couldn’t understand why that was a problem was told to get into the air. Timm was jealous, insecure and not too bright, but he didn’t deserve to be killed. You have to wonder what he thought he was going to accomplish by charging at four armed corporate cops. Did he really think that he was going to be Bix’s knight in shining armor, charge to her rescue and that then she would forgive him and fall madly in love with him? Bro, you were her one night a week booty call, not her one and only true love.

this show is SO GUD

To answer to Maple, the Force is and was always there, and a lot of people are somewhat sensible to it in the Universe (even if they don't know most of the time they are). The Jedi and Sith (bad dark dudes) that you see in the big films are just some of those who were found and trained to excel in the use of the Force) . We are between the Prelogy and the original trilogy in term of time setting, so there is no jedi and sith around (at least known to the people in the universe) except for Darth Vader and the Emperor Darth Sidious (the bosses of the Empire) and themselves are not known by the public to be users of the Force in general, except for the people directly serving them. The Force, in this time, on most planets, has more of a religious/mythology presence, like old stories and tales etc.

Not sure either of you are totally accounting for the nuance in Timm’s characterisation. He isn’t ratting on Cass purely out of insecurity, although that’s clearly a factor. He’s genuinely worried about Bix and knows her blind spot for Cass keeps dragging her into his problems. By lying to Timm while also clearly confiding in him, she inadvertently makes him an accomplice which makes him feel even more responsible for looking out for her. Going behind her back instead of talking to her was obviously a massive mistake, but that’s the point: his actions come from a grounded mix of jealousy, insecurity, love and concern. Reducing him to an insecure dummy who dies needlessly misses much of what makes both the character and Andor so well written.

Any plans for a cut version of the reaction? I would love to see your view on the show but I’m not sure I want to sit through the whole show again.

Season 1 is like that filling appetizer that let's you know the chef means business.....season 2 is top 3 in tv history. The ride is worth the subscription.

scott melton

Love these! Could you add the time code to the feed, in case we need to pause/restart, or want to skip ahead?

Eric H

Friends don't let friends watch Killing Eve past season 1

ZitherManifesto

want more Skarsgard family to watch, i recommend True Blood and Vikings

Hanno

Killing Eve season 2 is awesome

Eric H

But it makes you wanna watch Season 3 lol

Doc Savage

I hear you.. i do. But he still gets an F-U from me. All and I mean ALL he had to do was just talk to Bix but he chose to wear clown shoes. Timm got what he got he had coming to him. I mean what if that were you? Your partner is so worried about you that they decide to call the FBI instead of just TRYING once to ask you "Hey what's going on?" No no no no no... Fk Timm!

Stellan Skarsgard could totally be great as a Harry Potter character. I think he'd make a great Madeye Moody. I'd say HBO should hit him up, but he'd prob be pretty old by the time they get around to goblet of fire.

Chris

Also Northman, though that is, admittedly, dramatically more *weird*.

Chris

Brasso, our ride or die king.

Bxb

I would pay triple my subscription to get them to watch Vikings 😂 goated show

Hanno

Fair enough 😂

Ill disagree on Timm actually did deserve to die. Corpos had NOTHING and were told to drop it. Timm out of pure jealously decided to call them and tell them that Cass was who they were looking for. He only learned that information from Biz, he didnt even get that info from Cass himself. The Corpos were even like "There is nothing about that in his record." He is a class traitor to the highest degree. Worse than a German selling out someone who was Jewish during WW2. Literally none of this happens if he keeps is insecure mouth shut. Also, what does he even have to be insecure about? He saw Cass leave before Biz? So he knows they weren't having an affair because he was following her all night? I really thought there was going to be a scene where he sobered up and was like "I fucked up" right after she was getting dressed on the bed, and no he was still totally ready for what was to come. Absolutely a selfish coward.
