The biggest Monster Girl Tavern update yet!

The main story reaches its conclusion, with a climactic battle and new post-game content. But there's still plenty to do after the credits: recruit monster girls for Expeditions, unlock Ascensions, expand your tavern into a trading empire, master a new TCG deck, and tackle a new Horde Mode in Slime RPG. Hope you guys enjoy this one, it's definitely my most crazily ambitious game yet. Hopefully the lack of a Steam release won't cause it to fall into obscurity. For now, I'm taking a small break from development 🫡

YOOO

Michael AM 11

Is this the final update Scarlett? Or will you do another one eventually?

Michael AM 11

Great! I was waiting until the very end. I’ll def play it this weekend :)

Seaman

It's an early Halloween miracle!

nostromo

Gotta say, absolutely love your work. This game is great. You get multiple mini games, tavern management, a damn good story, and ya know the obvious lol. Glad to see how well this game has turned out!

Evo997

Shame it's not coming to steam. Guess I'll just put it on my steam deck manually

Hahaha

Yeeehaw! I ain't a cowboy, but I felt like saying that. Thank you very much!

Petal_Stacks

I've been excited for this one, this game has been fantastic. However, the download link for the zip file is providing a "media not found" message from Patreon. The .apk is downloading fine, though.

Hahaha

same

Claire Autumn

Literally the best h game ever made imo and I've played like 100, thank you so much for your work. Your catalogue is insanely impressive.

Christian Wölk

I loved the previous versions and loved seeing the progress❤️

RGSC

So far fantastic. I don't know if these are bugs or not but whenever i am doing the ''intimate'' scenes with Glorp or goblin girl, the screen is black yet the text and sounds are still normal

TwistedScarlett60

Uhm, yeah that sounds like a huge bug. Any more info? I have been unable to replicate this.

RGSC

i'm still working my way through to see if any other points are affected. there were no error messages. when the scenes start you get the scenes image for less than a second before it flashes to a black screen and resumes as normal. the white flashing at the climax of the scene is also unaffected

Chuck Finlay

I'm glad to have been here to witness the 1.0 release! I might've been fashionably late to the party, but it's been a delight to watch this project grow as it has and achieve its potential. Scarlett - your creative ability is a wonder to behold. I'm not sure whether calling each new version an 'update' rather than 'a goddamn evolution' is more of an understatement or a misnomer. Because truthfully, other creatives + developers could learn a thing or two. Every new mechanic, character and area felt genuinely expansive to play and experience (in a way that often surprised me). Deeper than just the novelty of new minigames, each new layer was woven with satisfying nuance and the room to explore it. I haven't played a game whose variety in content matched the depth of its creative design in a long time, and all without any individual part feeling 'bolted on', neglected or undercooked. That's a tall order. Thanks for bringing us along for the journey.

I can verify that I am experiencing a similar bug in Glorp's 3rd scene. The first image of her riding is off-center, leaving the left third of the screen blank and the right part of the image not visible. Any later images don't show up at all. Additionally, when talking to her afterwards, text options don't vanish upon being used but do stop working. If I ask if she's planning to leave first, then the 'built it all from nothing' option stops working, and the 'still planning to leave' button now uses the text for 'built this all from nothing.' The text options do vanish upon leaving and re-entering the shop.

Drustrevi

Congrats for the new release🎉

BloodAngelsCaptain

As long as we get to bang Velvet a lot, I’m happy. 😁

Henrey Von Wolf

Thanks for this gift! Ill be sure to 100% it just like Monster Girl 1000. Rest up well and cant wait for a trilogy later on (thats if you want to expand the universe and all))

Tsundoku

Is there an update on the appeal or is steam just impossible at this point?

Minos Prime

love you Scarlett, your games are peak

Serraxas

As someone who was waiting for the game to be finished before picking it up, holy shit, that is one big changelog. Guess I had good timing when I booked a long weekend off work. Looking forward to the journey ahead, and hope you enjoy your break, Scarlett. Gods know you've earned it.

Palerider6660

That final battle roster! Hwut?! Scarlett you gave me what I asked for in Monster Girl 1000 one game later. Lol

SHREDDER1876

First off it's crazy this game can't go on Steam, it's far better then most games on there. This is one of my favorate games, some way's even better then Monster girl 1000 girls. CROSSROADS MUNICIPAL ARCHIVE. On a side note I love all the books in the lab to read and using the lab computer to open up the second room from information from the book's, I opend both locks the room, and the room in the mirror world. Also got the Archivist Completion File. Twisted Scarlet I suspect Steam had a snow flake attack because of the two Imp girl's, it's crazy they won't let you remove whatever the problem is and re-apply, it's there loss, I wish there was a gaming platform where gaming dev's could ad there games that Steam say's no to. Please stay strong and don't let it get you down.

BloodAngelsCaptain

Started playing today. And as expected, I LOVE Velvet! <3

Zander

Congrats on release! Though, there seems to be something very screwy going on with screen brightness in the monster TCG? It's kind of hard to explain but it seems like the slight darkening of the screen when hovering over a card is "layering" on itself? Like if your cursor crosses multiple cards the screen gets increasingly dim with each new card. Its not perfectly consistent, I'll update if I find any specific cause behind it, but should be able to replicate it by just hovering over cards.

Opticloki47

Did steam ever get back to you?

Revalusion .

I can't wait to play it. I guess next project, steam will accept only wrinkled grandmas with visible sag in all places that only talk about menopause, back pain, and late husbands who died of old age. maybe only rocking on a porch but only close up shots that are neck up, dont want to accidentally get too crazy.

Polyanna

Happy to see the fully realized vision for MGT, and still sad and mad about the Steam situation. Your time off is well deserved and I hope you will find a way back to working on games again that is satisfying for you and financially viable enough to carry on.
