My recommendations for series you should watch alongside Hazbin Hotel is The Persona 5 Animation Dub or Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope's Peak High School both Future Arc and Despair Arc would be awesome!

I think I heard a statistic that around 2011 when P4 takes place women make up less than 10 percent of the police force in Japan, and that percentage is even lower for detectives, like 5 percent of detectives.

I know Noato isnt trans in any form really but she does highlight something trans men do go through and its the weird respect you suddenly get when you present male in the eyes of society. Its such a shitty thing to know that people will give you more time of day just because you are male. Its such a unfair thing to be presented with and it makes you feel like shit. Your gender really shouldnt be a base line for how much people will listen to you.

Might be too early, but wondering if you’ll watch the Golden anime as well? It’s not as good as this one, but it has some really good moments. Mostly goes over Golden Content so not too much repeats in terms of content. Also it never got a dub, so it’s only in Japanese. Either way love the videos and can’t wait for the next one.

Dojima has a tough situation, his wife was killed he had to bring up a child all on his own with no support, he is the detective of the police department, with an ongoing murder case, everyone is on his case most likely from the police department and the town, he’s trying to track down the person who killed his wife. Bringing up a child on your own unexpectedly is hard, so I understand both Nanako and dojima, they both love each other very much but there’s that disconnection since his wife died, an he needed that wake up call
