Hi folks!

This week's devlog is once again public. I'm writing it on a plane headed to Copenhagen. From there, I'm taking a train to Malmo and head for Nordic FuzzCon. If you're there too, don't hesitate to say hi! I'm taking this entire week as vacations, I don't plan to be online so I won't be active in the server and likely won't be able to answer any questions.

The new tracks recorded for Broken Harbours will soon appear in the soundtrack album, on Bandcamp and on Itch (it's available for free btw!). I'll try to export and include them during my stay in Sweden, I can't promise when exactly.

In the meantime, I've been working relentlessly the last two weeks on extra scenes to cap off the ones from the last update, more personal and split into routes. Broken Harbours is now released too - the UI was primarily the work of Bartor, my friend, with the programming and testing done by me.

The biggest and unfortunately slowest chunk of work I'm doing now is detailed planning for the entire Day 5 - I'm linking ideas and scenes I had prepared and weaving them together into one big flow throughout the entire last day, joining all the interlocking parts across all of the routes. It's how I worked on the rest of Dawn Chorus too, only this time the complexity is much higher, similar to what you've seen in Day 1 - I'm building things horizontally, brick by brick, wanting to have this breadth of content for you, so that each read-through can be different. There's a lot of room for exploration and new ideas while I write each scene and route, but once I have this all zipped up, writing will go much easier.

I'm heading back to Athens on the next Tuesday, and that's also when I'll be back to my regular availability.
