Well actuallyyyy one of the most iconiccc lines/memes from the Death Note dub (in all of dub tbh) is that scene with the crisps😭 'I'll take a potato chip... and EAT!'

All might

I mean to be fair there's really no such thing as 'not the type to commit suicide' because the most unexpected people do it a lot of the time

All might

Well at this stage he has already said in a previous episode that he might end up killing his family if they find his death note

All might

Yes Shinigami are meant to be death gods

appak

Fun fact the voice actor for Askeladd is also Soichiro Yagami (Light's dad)

Milan

"that should be memed" oh boy do you have no idea. "i'll take a potato chip AND EAT IT" that exact line is probably the biggest meme in the anime community. LMAO please post that clip and your reaction on tt

Jamaal Burkmar

Ahahahahaah that’s incredible… yeah I’ll definitely share that!

Meri

interesting thing about the comparisons between death note and aot is that death note's director, Tetsuro Araki is the one who directed the earlier seasons of aot (the 1st and 2nd for sure, and that dictated the directing style for the latter seasons imo) the two shows imo got the same flair even if not they are not of the same genre.

Lily

more on how creepy and weird L is,, fun fact about him is that he uses a custom, fully automated human-sized washing machine built by Watari because he finds standard bathing to be too much effort LOL it's stated in one of the special chapters of the manga

OnikeNew

FYi for skipping openings/endings, they tend to be 1:30 in anime! Lol not that I would encourage skipping, but just for ease.

T-DiamondStylus

Would be cool if you watched One Punch Man. Though it is not as deep or thought provoking as DN and AoT, but it can be if you want it to

Reda Haline

Get ready the story starts to get more interesting from the next episode

Milan

i looked up what happens in the next few episodes to remind myself and i was like "huh, that happens already???"

when comparing lost to aot, i like to think that lost has incredible mystery, just as good as aot, but when it comes to the payoff/reveal, it usually falls a bit flat, whereas aot often surpasses what one might expect
