Thanks Corvithorn! I was originally going to call Book 1 “A Dawn in Deadfall” and name them all, but the genre convention leans more heavily into sequencing them numerically, and letting your series title/web novel title be the main thing. So I’ve kind of leaned that way.

There we go. The wisp was critical. Deadfall be dead but the lack of life was offputting. The wisp helps punch it up a little as a more dynamic space. I guess a bunch of moss and mushrooms could have worked too but I'm having a hard time conceiving it

Well the spear fits though, that's been his primary weapon for much of the early story before magic. It's his first ever mastery. I think it's quite fitting for only book 2.. Now going forwards.. say book 3+ etc.. I'd def hope to see the bow and new sword make appearances too

Ok under that point i agree, it is his most used weapon ^^ But i rly hope he goes to use more weapons and focus on them... otherwise it would let a big part of his trait go to waste
