You stirred awake, finding yourself to be cuddled up in your tent. Blankets and pillows are positioned all around you to keep you cozy. You blink your sleepy eyes a few times, coming too as your mind catches up. Either Gojo carried you back himself or someone had to get you guys. You had a good feeling that the answer was the latter. Especially considering how tired your blue-eyed alpha was. Mumbling in his sleep about how you belong to him and you were his forever…

It made you giggle to yourself.

Your heart flutters ever so. To be so loved by not one but five alphas…You had to be the luckiest girl in the universe… or like...wherever you are.

You had noticed that you were in a new black nightdress and you appeared overly cleaned if that were even a thing. Nanami did this. That was without a question.

You got in a good kitten-like stretch before crawling out of your tent.

Poking your head out, you were met with a campfire crackling in the middle of your circle of tents. Sitting by it was Getou. He had his knee propped up with his elbow resting upon it. He looked to be deep in thought, staring at the flames as they flickered within his eyes.

“Hey.” You called to him as you crawled closer.

He breathed as he looked toward you, a soft smile touching his lips when his eyes registered who was coming his way. “Hello sweetheart, what are you doing up?”

You get to him, climbing between his legs as you lay your head on his thigh. You release a soft hum, feeling comfortable as he caresses your cheek gently. “I’m still a little sleepy but I don’t mind coming out here to keep you company. Why are you alone?”

“I’m not, Sukuna is scouting the outskirts of our camp. We are much closer to the Shadowlands so we must be cautious.”

Your stomach dropped as your eyes settled on the dancing flames. “Oh…yeah that is smart…”

Getou’s hand slowed to a stop as he moved to grab your chin so you could look at him, “What’s wrong darling?”

You released a little snort, “You guys are too observant you know that?”

The alpha gave you a lopsided grin, “Not really. You are a canvas of emotions. And, I can hear it in your voice. You’re nervous.”

“Well- yeah, this time was easy!” You released a giggle before you settled with a sigh. “…but…I am nervous about going to the Shadowlands. It’s one of the scariest places in the story. Crawling with the most notorious criminals and monsters. Though I’m aware of this… I have never been there in person. It's different... and meeting the priest was shitty and THAT was supposed to be the easy part… so I can’t even imagine what we will face down there…”

Getou slowly nodded his head, going back to smoothing the worry from your face. “It’s no place for beautiful creatures like us, that’s for sure. It is a disgusting place where even the air is polluted. The dirtiest of the dirtiest slugs crawl down there. There's not even a peak of light, a place where it doesn't even shine-“

“Ummm~? Is this supposed to make me feel better because you aren't doing so great mister?”

“Ha-“ Getou snorted, “-No. It’s supposed to be... a warning. The alphas are much like the old slugs but worse. So if you decide to slap someone then be sure you are ready for us to fight.”

“Ooookay~ I don’t just go around slapping people- that was…you know... he deserved it. Definitely long overdue.”

Getou let out a low laugh, “Plenty of the slugs down there deserve it too. I’m just telling you that once this hand-“ he picks up your wrist and wiggles it around, making your hand flop back and forth, “-Meets skin? Expect that as a call for battle.”

You find yourself laughing too, “Ai- I will make sure I use my powers for good!”

Getou releases your wrists as the two of you return to a comfortable silence.

“You aren’t gonna believe this but…” You began gently breaking the quietness, “…I think I might owe Sukuna an apology…”

“Hm- that’s a first. Why do you say that?”

“Well… it’s about what happened with Gojo… like how he knew he needed some tough love and I got mad at him… I try to not let my emotions get in the way but you alphas are a rough bunch.”

Getou let out a playful gasp, “Nooo~ you must have the wrong pack of fiends!”

“Nope, you fiends. But like I was saying, I don’t like seeing you guys fight each other. In the story if one of you fell the pack followed. As in...it ruined everything. For us to function it requires everyone. We all have our roles that we play. Sukuna... he sees things that I don’t quite see… and I guess sometimes I gotta let him handle it… like with the whole thing with Toji. Even you told me that Toji had to learn from his mistake, even though I was ready to just hug him and say it's ok... and now this whole thing with Gojo...I just don’t know when I’m needed.”

“I think you did exactly what was needed of you. Sukuna is the rough hand while you are the soft one. I believe Gojo needed you both in his moment.”

You furrowed your brows as you looked up at your alpha, “Oh…I never thought about it like that…hmm that… actually makes a lot of sense…. Thanks, Getou.”

Getou bowed his head while casting out his hand in a dramatic gesture, “I provide the wisdom, the smarts, the cunningness, the therapy, and of course beauty…huh, I could go on and on...”

You smiled lightly as you sat up, “Yes yes you do that and more, But the therapist also needs therapy…is there anything you need to talk about?”

“Sweet darling, there’s no need for you to sacrifice your ear.”

You shook your head, “Uh, are you silly? It’s my job to make sure all of my alphas are taken care of not just physically but mentally as well.“

“Physically huh?” He grinned but you weren’t going to let him slip away from this serious conversation with sexual innuendos.

You make a point by pushing a finger into his chest, “AND mentally- don’t forget that part! Like come on, with everything that has been going on I haven’t heard you really make a fuss besides the cold and the slugs... If something is going on I want you to be able to voice it…”

Getou settled you with a blank expression, then he looked toward the fire. “You have no reason to worry about me.”

You remained silent staring at Geto, giving him room to take back what he said... just in case he was willing to talk.

He was the last alpha that you had to address your love for. You weren’t sure if he realized that and if he was waiting for his time. Most importantly, you didn't want him to feel left out. You just weren’t sure if now would be a good time for you to just- sprout it out. You didn't want him to think you were saying it just to say it. Especially considering that you were about to go to an extremely hostile place.

But then that thought posed another question... What if he gets snagged in the idea that you never said you love him? What if that’s what catches him off guard and he is slain in battle!?-

“Goodness sweetheart, how does a beautiful creature such as yourself not have a million wrinkles from all your worry?”

You were surprised by Getou's sudden attention on you, you hadn't realized you had gone full doomsday.

You tried to relax your face a bit, as your internal turmoil was affecting your outer appearance. It was harder said than done, so you went for the trusty half-joking, half-not-joking approach.

“I’m going to have a wrinkle from each of you. Five smacked on my forehead.”

"You might want to add two extra for Gojo and Sukuna." Getou seemed hesitant to discuss anything that may have been bothering him.

Or perhaps nothing was weighing on his mind? It was hard to tell honestly. Sukuna was very loud with his emotions, Gojo was too, and Toji was a big daddy with his heart on his sleeve. Nanami was a statue but you were starting to see the cracks a lot clearer now.

Then there was Getou who saddled between Nanami and Gojo.

He was always joking and smiling, but you started to notice that his smile didn’t always reach his eyes.

Learning that it was Getou and Gojo who devised the plan to kill the elders after Yaga’s death showed how much the alpha cared about the man… and you don't even know how much Yu’s death actually affected him. From what you had seen from the game he was much more distant.

That made you truly sad to think about. Perhaps it was Getou who was better at hiding his feelings than Nanami. You wouldn't know if the alpha was actually depressed or not.  

And that scared you.

You slide your hand within Getou's and pull it to you, cradling it with both your hands. “Suguru…I….” you decided that you didn’t want to regret anything. You would rather make a fool out of yourself than feel regret for not speaking up. “….I just want you to know that I love you very much, and your well-being is important to me.”

Getou’s dark eyes seem to sparkle with mirth, “Huh? I didn’t expect you to tell me now.”

“Wh-what do you mean?”

The alpha got into character as he said, “I expected a grueling fight where I am on my last breath and you tell me such sweet words before I pass on into the light's embarace~.” His hand raised as he faked emotional tears.

“That- that would be horrible! I don’t want that for the both of us- I need you to know that you are loved so you DON’T end up in that predicament! I need you to know this so you can always feel safe to confide in me through thick and thin. We are in this together. I cannot lose you or any of my alphas!”

“My oh my, it’s almost like you have read about my demise.”

Your teeth clenched as you recall his very words when his character dies- “So this is how it ends…how tragic…”

“I have! The story has multiple endings…So- so I know- and- fuck.” Your voice cracks as you see that broken image that had your heart tearing in two. Again, you have only seen each character's death once but it was enough to stick in your mind.

To know your loved ones' final words- to see their bloodied and abused bodies as their voices waver with their last breath… It was something you didn’t think could affect you so much now. But it did. It brought on a different kind of fear.

Reminded you of every moment you fucked up while playing the game. A slip up here- a mistake there- a wrong word- a wrong click- a wrong decision- doesn’t matter.

You had to play everything perfectly. There was no turning the game off and starting back at your last save.

It was easier before when you knew what was going to happen, but this part wasn't even in the game! What if you aren’t able to make it in time to save Yuta? What if your pack is not ready to face such a dangerous monster as Rika…someone would surely perish…

If that happens...your whole world will crumble.

This sort of pressure is always there, it has always been there and it was so… heavy. So heavy that making any awareness of it makes you cry. And the more you fall in love with them the more crushing it is.

So you burst into tears, unable to stop the choked sob from clawing at your throat.

Getou slid his hand around your back while pulling you to his side. “Relax sweetheart…” he kissed you upon your forehead before he began to purr softly, “…you get yourself worked up and you will have a stampede of alphas on me. I can just hear Toji now berating me for making his princess cry. I already seen him get pissy with Gojo I don't want his wrath.”

You let out a little laugh as you nodded your head.

“I’m sorry…I’m sorry Getou- I’m just so afraid- I’m afraid to lose any of you- I’m so sorry-“ You babbled in between your sniffles. “I-I can’t lose anyone-I can’t-“

“Shh…You have nothing to be sorry about.” Getou’s words were soft as he spoke to you. “…I would be lying if I said I wasn’t afraid. If some slug took you away from me I would…” He drifted off before he shook his head as if he didn’t even want to talk about it. “…I love you Y/n…”

You pulled back, trying to stifle your sniffles, “Y-you do?”

Getou seemed surprised, “Absolutely, is that even a question?”

You shrugged a bit, “Well… I’m not going to name names… but there was a bit of jealousy going on and I wasn’t sure if-“

“Hahaha!” Getou busted up into a chuckle causing your face to heat up in embarrassment.

“Wha-why are you laughing?”

“Because haha~ you are so cute. Did you think I was jealous because I was the last to receive your confession?”

Well actually fucking yes- you give him a shrug, “Yeah… I did…because you guys were acting weird… even Nanami!”

Getou simmered down into a light chuckle, “Hm… let’s see…to be fair...I was jealous. At first. When you told Toji you loved him. But then you made that comment about... how if something was bothering us we should say it. I was going to tell you about it in Fushimi but the more I thought about it the more silly I felt. I asked myself- ‘Why am I jealous?'- I know you love all of us so it was just a matter of time before you told me. Sure I wasn’t your first confession but I got to experience your first heat, I still brag about that haha... and I believe it was I who opened the floodgates to such a fiendish omega~.”

“G-getou!” You gasp trying to hold in a laugh. “Well… okay maybe you are a little right about that..."

"Of course I am dear...so no... I'm not jealous."

"Good...I'm glad...oh...I dunno if I ever thanked you for being there for my heat. If it weren’t for you I would have been miserable...and I don’t think we would have made it to Aika on time.”

“Mm… I’m afraid you would have surely perished during your heat.” Getou joked.

"I'm with you on that one. Heats are sooo weird."

"So then what do your omegas... or human dams have? You are born somehow no?"

"Oh ha! You... you don't want to know. It's... gross."

"Gross?"

You shook your head pressing your lips tight together, it felt embarrassing to even say it.

"How could something so beautiful be gross?" The alpha seemed to really be confused.

You hiss as you lean in close, "We... bleed...from there." You gestured.

"How is that gross? Sukuna would love that-"

"Ew ew ew ew ew~ I don't want to think about that- just know it's gross trust me!"

Getou let out a charming laugh as he shook his head. "Honestly... we have been blessed to have someone like you. I feel sorry for the poor beautiful fool in your story.“

Your tongue went heavy as another one of your alphas expressed feeling bad about their counterparts. You shrug. "I mean... you guys seemed happy and all."

Getou gave you an adoring expression, “No... there's something special about you. You are everything that we need and more. It would take a fool to not see that to be the truth. We would follow you to the ends of the world.”

You let out a shy giggle trying to remember how to breathe, “To the ends of the world? Even to the Land of No Return?” You said it as a joke but Getou seemed to actually think about it. “Stop thinking about it-I- I was joking!”

“That would be a tough one.” Getou hummed while massaging his chin, “There’s no telling what is there considering no one ever returns... sooo it would be dangerous... but perhaps if we become strong enough we could take a look?”

You couldn’t believe him!

“G-getou I… what is wrong with you? You would willingly go to a place that ZERO- Zeeerrooo people have come back from?”

Getou clicked his tongue, “Ah that sounds terrible when you say it like that…”

“Yeah, it’s just dumb! Don’t do something silly even if it’s for me-“

“-but yes I would. And I’m sure the others would too. You know what? Maybe Nanami was right and you are a powerful being that has us entrapped!”

“Getou!”

The two of you were interrupted by Nanami as he exited his tent.

You looked toward the blonde and smiled, “Hey Nanami.”

Nanami flashed you a big smile, “It makes me happy to hear you laughing so much.”

Your cheeks hurt from smiling so damn much- your alphas have really been taking care of you lately! “It’s nice to enjoy this break… you know...before we go…down there.”

“From one shit hole to another.” Getou murmured as he got up to stretch.

Your gaze followed your alpha as you realized the two of them were switching who was on watch.

Nanami felt the disdain, "Yes, hopefully, we can make our time there brief."

“Uh-“ you started making Getou look down upon you.

“What is it darling?”

It has been a while since you spent time with your black-haired alpha, and after such a confession you felt some alone time was needed. To make sure he felt extra special.

You spoke slowly, trying your best to not stutter or look away, “Can… I sleep with you tonight?”

The alpha grinned, offering his hand, “Of course you can.”

As you were helped up Nanami cleared his throat. “We will be entering the Shadowlands tomorrow.”

“Yes, we know... and?” Your sassy alpha questioned with a raise of his brow.

“That means, our omega needs her sleep. Perhaps you should sleep in your nest little bird.” The second part was directed toward you.

“Tch-We will go straight to bed Nanami~.” Getou waved the blonde off but Nanami still did not uncross his crossed daddy arms!

The two of them then looked at you as you realized they were waiting for your input.

Sleep was obviously more important than rolling around in the nest...but......You were in a hentai world surrounded by loving hentai alphas who needed to be taken care of physically and mentally.

So you said, "We will go to bed, sir."

Which is true... you will go to bed... maybe after one round of sex... no more than one...

Yes, the title is from the song by Jonghyun, I couldn't stop listening to it while writing this chapter. That one part where they are talking back and forth tickles my brain it's so good- iykyk-

I also thought of that pressure song from Encanto and imagine it being reader and how she feels having the weight of so much on her back from her pack to the world and other people. I could not even fathom such control and it must be so scary yet she has to keep moving and do the best she can. Because that's all she can do.
