Here’s the thing. You are an amazing creator. But…also you are a human being. Life happens and sometimes it smacks you in the head. You have to take time to process that because if you are not at your best for yourself, then it’s going to be difficult to be at your best for your community. It’s very much appreciated when you update us with rambles on what’s happening, but there’s no need to apologize for what’s happening. The wait is worth it if you are taking care of yourself first❤️

Dear Hank, you probably have no idea how important these updates of yours are. I am incredibly grateful that you take the time to share what’s going on in your life—that you’re the kind of person who actually keeps us posted on how you’re doing, rather than just disappearing and occasionally dropping a few audio clips before going silent again. Instead, you really share the details of what’s happening, and I’m so grateful for that. Stay just as you are, and please be really good to yourself.

Take this advice that I try my best to follow. Work to live, do not live to work! I work hard to pay the bills, etc but I have learnt to separate work & private time to make the most of my free time with friends, family, hobbies. When you enjoy your work - which I do - it’s a bonus, but you still need to take time to look after yourself. Don’t mean this to be a lecture, but you would give us the same advice. I’m not going anywhere, I enjoy every bit of your content. Just remember to take good care of yourself & never feel guilty for doing it. It’s important 🥰 Lecture over. Now go and play some guitar on the couch with a beer 😜

Please slow down. Sometimes there’s just a lot on our plates. What if you took this month off? You take care of us in ways you probably don’t even realize, and giving you some time off work is a little something our community can do to take care of you, too. Hank - there is *never* any need to apologise. I'm glad you've been taking some time to be good to yourself (it's important, don't you know 😉) and catch up with people in your life. I'm so looking forward to hearing everything you have in store for us, but I'd happily wait a bit longer if you need more time for life stuff. There's no need to back off on your posts, because it's INCREDIBLY easy to sort content on Patreon! Anyone who only wants to see your audios can filter for that, so "flooding" your feed isn't relevant—and if anything, regular posting is more likely to increase visibility and engagement. So feel free to cross that off your list of concerns! Especially since you're going to be taking good care of yourself and your own needs by taking more time for Real Life Issues, and to produce work that meets your artistic standards :)

You’re a human first and a content creator second, and that’s how it should be! I’m really glad to hear that you’re focusing more on the relationship with the people that are still in your life. Hank, thank you for posting this but as we have told you there is no need to apologize. The most important thing in life is to take care of yourself and those most important to you. I'm sorry you have been through so much recently. When life comes at you it sometimes comes full force. Having experienced a major loss recently I understand the feeling of being overwhelmed. Boy, am I ever! Take your time, clear your head, find some peace, and prioritize what needs to be done. We are always here whenever you feel better and have time. But put what you need to do first. Talk to the cats, they always have an answer. (It seems life is so much busier now than it was years ago. Always more to do and more people expect from us. Sometimes I long for the internet free era. Sit outside with no phone and escape everything.) Take care of yourself - it's important! A wise person told me that once, or twice. 😉♥️
