aespa's Japanese mini album turned out to be a really enjoyable listen, but what stood out most to me was just how sultry and natural their harmonies are. They feel completely tailor-made for the group's voices, and after hearing this project, I'd absolutely love to hear SM lean into a full R&B release in the future.

There weren't loads of surprising vocal moments this time around, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Instead, this mini reminded me just how well aespa's voices blend together, especially on songs like "Kiss N Tell." I also hope SM keeps this brighter, upbeat direction for their next mini because the reception to this era has been so positive.

As always, I break down the vocals using my Civilian, Athlete, Olympian and World Class ranking system, while looking at the harmonies, layering and arrangements that make these songs work.

I was surprised by kiss n tell just like you in halo didn't have much I wish they will upload acapilla performance of it but with lollapalooza and their tour coming soon few weeks from now I have no hope also i think they will have mini album in November since it the only month in their calendar with no schedules even the tour stops for 2 months for me I just wants them to stop working with whiplash and lemonade producer cause it i hate how repetitive this two songs with only the vocals moments be in the bridge and short like work with someone new once in while and to stop this talking in their songs you singers sing the only thing that made me dislike orbitpop is the talking and dig into exo and shinee vocaly challenges folder since they likes to use old songs and everything cause what you mean you had mine , spicy and next level before debut
